"We have all gathered in this part of the Creator's awesome world to bless and give thanks for the birth and life of Dane Jensen-Sellers.  In this wonderful and complex universe, of which Earth is a minute part, we experience many changes in the cycle of life.

There was a season when Teri and Alan were beckoned by love, and they yielded to it, and let love enfold them. A new life for them began as they cast of their previous lives. Then a new season came and into creation came Dane Jensen-Sellers to Teri and Alan.

Though Dane is their child, yet he is not. Teri and Alan are the bow, and may they provide stablesness in Dane's life.  They, are the bow from which Dane, as the arrow, will be shot forth into the world. May he go far, and always find the mark.

We give thanks for the waiting and the joy, for this new life, and for Teri and Alan's parenthood in the gift of Dane, for he has been entrusted to their care. May they have the gift of courage and patience to face the challenge of raising him in this turbulent world. May they be patient and understanding, ready to guide and to forgive, that in their love for him, he may learn to love the world and all of its children."
